Jane founded Bay Tree VA in 2008, having previously worked as a PA to senior management for
20 years.

Having been recognised in 2014 as ‘VA of the Year – England’, Bay Tree VA is now an award winning business with a team of 18 assistants. In 2021 Bay Tree VA was chosen as part of the Eastern Daily Press ‘Future 50’ cohort. Future 50 identifies companies with exceptional potential for growth and ‘ones to watch’. Other highlights include onboarding the first client from the USA, signing additional clients in Europe and extending the range of services provided. Jane continues to drive Bay Tree VA forward as a solution for a better work/life balance for both client and Bay Tree VA.

Jane is a speaker and judge at industry events. She is an active member of the local business community, having served as Vice Chairman/Director of Menta – the Suffolk Enterprise Agency and Committee Member of the Institute of Directors – Suffolk. Jane is currently on the Steering Committee for the Ipswich Suffolk Business Club.
